Ever get a song sticking in you mind for days on end?
Simon & Garfunkel This is my song for the asking....
Lately its been Robert Wyatt's version of "At last I am Free".
His voice can be so melancholic at times... and I like that.
The song has only three lines: "At last I am free. I can hardly see in front of me. I can hardly see in front of me."
You can take the lyric as you will. My take:
1/ you immediately think of Mandella. Tears of JOY effect his vision.
or
2/ the person is welcoming Release - the Angel of Death. He is free of the misery of existence. He is dying and as he is dying the sight goes. (Apparently hearing is the last sense to go.)

I have too many songs floating around, yesterday it was 'Sara' by Fleetwood Mac. For some godawful reason, tonight it's 'Eight Days a Week' by The Fabs.....
