Ebay piss me off. They have a postage limit of £9.50 which is OTT for this but with an expensive and heavy box set that requires courier delivery and insurance seller loses out. This twat has maxed out what he can charge on a listing.

It's easy to date the picture. It's deffo from 1972, and I can tell from Carl's drumkit it's after the Japanese tour. They're quite possibly rehearsing for the Autumn 1972 British Tour. The symbols on Carl's bass drum are ancient Japanese script for 'CP', which in Japanese also means 'Added Power'. Quite apt! He picked it up on the Japanese tour. The ELP logo was designed too late to appear on Trilogy, but found it's way onto Brain Salad.
The signatures look authentic. I have them so many times you just wouldn't believe.

Aye. Emmo used to play his radio show theme tune at times.. They used the Tarkuses each side of the stage all the way up to early 1973, before the 'BSS' Tour.
