Now take something like Lord Of the Rings.
The heros here are the opposite of the superhero bluster. The diminutive hobbits are gentle folk happy to live in the background. Thrown by circumstance into turmoil. Forced by duty to take up the cause.As if this is the most obvious thing to do.
A true hero - and this is important - is the one who achieves the seemingly impossible, who risks Life to push through all obstacle and does this WHEN NO WITNESS IS PRESENT. And that is the core of LOTR: humbleness, sacrifice and the power of true friendship.
