My top two have to go to
Martin Birch & Eddie Offord
Offord i like even though his repertoire of bands aint that well known but he was reponcible for the early ELP albums pre "BRAIN SALAD SURGERY" & all the 1970's YES albums. His recordings were top notch for the time
Where as the late Martin Birch was responcible for all the Mk.2/3 DEEP PURPLE, Dio RAINBOW, Dio BLACK SABBATH. LP's other top bands like early FLEETWOOD MAC & IRON MAIDEN were under his wing.
