Why on earth would you look at VINYL of all things on a charity store? Most sleeves are seriously tatty and Gawd knows what kind of groove grinder was used to play these records... At least used record shops do tend to inspect said records before selling them, but then it's not 'thriftin' I suppose  |

I have no experience of used vinyl from WHERE YOU LIVE but here the vinyl is more often in very acceptable shape - sleeve and record. Especialy jazz and classical.
Anyways, I only got a cd of ANDERSON,BRUFORD,WAKEMAN & HOWE "same". (I'm not sure I won't regret spending 2 dollah on this.)

I agree with Wallace. I rarely get poor condition used vinyl. It's a non-issue.

I might go to the wrong charity shops but I’ve never seen a decent record in one for decades. It’s all KTel and Nana Mouskouri. All usually very tatty too.
