The thing with sub-genres in particular is, “who decides what is and isn’t worthy of being included?”. I’m not a rock fan in general, so it makes sense that I don’t like the stuff touted as prog.
Whatever floats someone’s boat though. I’m the same with music as I am with the gear. If it makes you happy that’s all that matters. Screw what someone else says, and double screw what the numbers try to tell you.

Ive asked Wallace numerous time what denotes a Progressive Band & never ever get an answer because you know what he doesnt know without wounding his Ego.. I have a very good idea of what exemplify a prog band & a large majority of so called Prog bands do not fit that ideal ie: HAWKWIND/GONG/PINK FLOYD etc I just wish the bunch of muppets would make it easier on themselves & just call it Rock Music. Cos in all fairness HAWKWIND for example is coined as SPACE ROCK |
