Well seen as Vinyl is not only too expensive its a fad, i still say its the industry clutching at straws to fetch revenue in & no way at all will Downloads be a replacement for CD, We are stuck with CD as an Audio format for the forseeable future. I think the companies that have stopped making CD players are bonkers.

We are just being played over and over. Trumbull to see how many formats they can get us to re-buy on. CD players will be made again, just like Tirntables. Probably shit build quality though.

I've noticed quite a few high quality CD players appearing of late. Just because Linn stopped doing them really tells you nothing. There is a new TEAC VRDS transport and player coming to market. Rega continue to make them and Exposure are launching a new full width top loader. Most electronics manufacturers have a few CD players in their range. CD sales in terms of quantity continue to outsell vinyl in the UK. Cd is even more popular in Germany and Japan. USA appears to be the only market where Vinyl is being shown to outsell CD in numbers.

Which is the only way to get 100% out of what was on those tapes. Everyone knows that going thru Analogue stages degrades the signal to a certain extent. Hence transferring process from the multitrack tape to the master tape back then was a slight degrade on its own.
Analogue sounds great but for ultimate detail na.

Opportunist prats. Knowing them it will be only VG.. I dont give a crap what CD is what CD its a CD no more than a tenner. Its the reflection on the original LP rarity thats doing it. This album is from 1971 but didnt get put out on Shaddocks till 2000's its all a pisstake all the same. They have gotta keep reissuing them to stop this crap happening. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144570284688?

I have a problem with big sellers like them that sell poor condition CD's that never give a real grading, this is how they get away comebacks. there are two big Book sellers that are exactly the same.
The thing is a lot of people only want the CD so they can rip to a file hence condition does not matter as long as it plays.
