I got a bargain with this set, still sealed.. To replace the Carlton 2001 set i have. These Network 2010 editions were the best. I was shocked to hear Network had gone bust as they were super important at releasing old rare British movies & series. My Prisoner set is Network as are the UFO the picture Quality is top notch. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305328670230

I used to love that show when I was younger. Same with UFO. I just can’t get back into it these days. The show hasn’t lost anything, it’s just me not having the same appetite for life these days.

Got this mattress today but won’t be trying it until tomorrow night. It looks and feels nice enough though. I guess time will tell as to whether it’s good and also durable. mlily.uk/dream-plus/

I’m at the stage right now where I’d like some of the really stunning ones. The thing is they take up room I don’t have and I’m not yet savvy enough to know what’s what. I’m also not really to spend significant money on them because it may just be a fad.

Wow that’s a steal for a boxed pair. I’ve never heard them but they look to be a nice size.

Wow that’s a steal for a boxed pair. I’ve never heard them but they look to be a nice size. Ferrofluid will be bolloxed in the 'T33' magnetic gap. Don't intend keeping those tweeters anyway. I intend using the AUDAX 'TW025A0' It might need padding down if its a bit bright but i doubt it. Crossover is a cheap doo only three caps per channel. No need for any veneering obviously, just a new stocking if the original is snagged but looks to be ok.

One of my favourite tweeters of all time. Probably the most natural-sounding one I’ve come across.

Yeah I did. It still surprises me how bad some tweeters are tbh. One I’ve never liked is the SEAS D2010. It’s really well put together, but it’s always drawing attention to itself. I much preferred the D2008. Dave always hears lots of sibilants with the 2008 but it hasn’t been like that for me.
The Morel tweeter loads of speakers use is also too “obvious” for me. I know a lot of it is down to the implementation but some tweeters do seem to have some clear flaws to my ears. Everyone’s different though so I can only speak for me.
I did like the two types of tweeter Richard Dunn used and recommended. One was the Vifa D27TG same as the Spica TC60. The other type, I can’t recall but I used them in the speakers I made.
Edit: Visaton G20SC
