I don’t eat potatoes very much but I am looking forward to trying roasters. When I do have them I usually put them on the George Foreman Grill, which is ok.

Bought some of this today to rewire the KEF's, This is more than good enough for a replacement for the stuff thats in there which is is poor condition now, the coppers turned black. Red & Black to match the new Binding posts, You dont see it but you know how it is LOL. Ill strip off the white PVC outer Jacket. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233471439278

Latest QED seems rather better than the thinner jacket (and difficult to separate and strip) stuff I used to sell and the stuff I saw had nice fresh looking copper as well.
Just for info, please don't ignore KabelDirect on Amazon. I bought a length of basic 1.5mm cross section for the techie mini system and it's bright clean copper. The 2.5mm stuff looks to be identical to the Linn K10 I rated so highly away from Linn systems and they do 4mm cross section as well.

Its nothing to do with sound Dave it's just the quality of product with peace of mind at a low price. I know QED are a decent firm so its no brainer at the price. You can't go wrong re wiring a complete speaker for £6. The original wire would have been just standard cheap shit signal wire that has seriously oxidised, even when i stripped the old wire an inch back it's still black. I would have just used Van Damme speaker wire but the conductors are RED/BLUE which would have sent my OCD haywire with the binding posts being RED/BLACK Soon as this arrives it in no messing i want this job done & out the way, Ive ordered some new Inductors but ive decided not to bother with them.Too much hassle which would mean disregarding the original X-Over boards that i don't want to do. Inductors don't go wrong at the end of the day.

I only mentioned KabelDirect as their 2.5mm looks identical to the Linn K10 at double or more the price, which used to come with the Classik music system and which worked so well in any system I used with it. If a manufacturer wanted their name printed on it, this could be done and I remember TDL prior to John Wright's passing, were considering selling it under their name.
I rewired my Spendor BC2's (original was tinned 1mm hook-up/bell wire) with a 2mm cable same as the ES14's had inside. Works ok. Harbeths have got 1.5mm? Van Damme blue (I can't post pics from my PCs here and don't store them online).
Anyway, hope you enjoy them once finished as I have good memories of them. I think these surprised KEF as well as it turned out.

Probably cos they used a proper Tweeter for them What surprises me is CELESTE IV are plentiful at cheap prices but i suppose they are under the sheep radar for a number reasons. One being you cannot show off the drive units I mean what is up with people... Paper cone woofer, Proper tweeter that you can still buy for less than £50 each. Recap & Rewire that will have cost me £20 Even the X-Over boards are mounted out of the cabinet. They only cost me £40 & they are like new apart from the Caps on top that had marks but they are nowhere near as obvious as the pictures, however ive sorted tha & now you cant see them at all. Im just a bit pissed the seller thrown the stands away. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/404744035902

Won this tonight. I already have a 'KA2000a' & KA2002 with matching tuners, the difference between the 'KA2002' & 'KA4002' is the '4002' has an additional Phono stage & additional Aux input, also has an additional set of speaker outs plus a mono out + Hi/Lo filter selector but basically the same amp as the '2002'. The Black plastic end cheek is missing but i have a spare one. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196220179934

I already told you of the KA2***? brown fronted amp we had running al day for twenty years or more, often disconnected and no doubt sometimes abused on the speaker outs (we had little flying extension cables to connect stuff up to on the service bench) It ran and ran and ran, but no idea of its eventual fate once the store was refitted after I left (the 'unit' is now a Habitat-style shop in posh mid Herts).

'KA2000' & 'KA2500' were Brown faced. 'KA2002a' was a silver fascia with Champagne strip cheap looking press buttons

Visually I think I like the 2002a best, then the 2002 then the 2000a. I seem to recall the earlier models were nicer inside though. The 2002 or 4002 with matching tuner do look lovely though. If you are putting the tuner with it, the 2002 and 2002a re a toss-up for me.

The '2002'/'4002' is a bit messy wiring wise has an extruded Aluminium front. Ive got two 'KT2001' tuners that go with the '2002'/'4002'
