Crazy World of Arthur Brown LP. They say King Crimson ITCOCK started the Progressive ball rolling but na Crazies LP was the one. recorded over a year prior the Crimbo's LP.

I was on to Universal this afternoon with a list LPs i want re-issuing they own the rights to LOL.

I don’t understand the hesitancy. This vinyl resurgence won’t last and they make nothing from overpriced used sales. Why not get everything that is in demand back out there?

A lot of Obscure Prog never got re-issued on Vinyl & can fetch thousands per copy. If the major labels think just because they sold in small numbers back in the day it's hardly worth the bother they are very wrong time change & this stuff is super sought after. They will sell without a doubt. Those two very well know bootleg labels that put out all this stuff need removing from existence, This can only be done by official releases. However i feel the same senario as the first time around, lack of promotion, even i never realsed some of what i wanted had been re-issued on LP. a while back. It was only the other day when it was too late that Aphrodites Child '666' Greek version has been re-issued on Vinyl. He wanted £44 for it i just missed out by 10 mins. Still im not even sure this is official pressing or not. Prog Re-issues are a minefield of Official & Unofficial releases you just have to do some serious research. |

Slim chance that happening, i bet they dont even have the original masters for some of them. I was testing the water wating for a responce im 99% sure what i sent them, they own the rights to. I pestered about the Van Der Graaf last year & they came thru with them this year. |

No sign of it collapsing though the upcoming recession should reduce sales. The main problem is getting new records pressed due to lack of capacity. It seems due to licensing some big names have never been reissued. Finally getting Steely Dan for first time in 30 years with exception of a couple of titles having previous audiophile reissues. Funny how tapes claimed to have gone up in the Universal fire keep appearing. |

People live on Credit cards they worry about paying back later LOL. Why do you think people buy such expensive Hi-Fi & stuff! all on the ticker. |

Aye, I just couldn’t live like that.. Plenty people do, but they risk their homes and their futures for trinkets and status symbols. It beggars belief but they don’t learn.
