Last deck im ever going to be buying is the one i presently got. Its going to be used for 12" singles mainly. This is how it arrived last week with a shity Linn pattern armboard, The deck however is in totally mint condition. With all this Covid fiasco going on its a slow process getting all the parts i need to get it up and running. Up to yet i managed to get a Belt, Michell VTA Adjuster & Goldring Cartridge. Waiting on: Rega 'RB250', New Rega mount Armboard, New Mat, Audio Technica 'AT6006' Armlift, Record Puck & Heed 'Orbit 2' Speed change/Power Supply. Also the feet on this deck are not original i ordered the right one. Its the early version which was the best version with the Metal tub base & Oil pump Bearing shaft.

The one I had was good but it was far from pitch stable, so a Heed Orbit and a new belt should make it a great deck. They work well with Rega arms too. When I had mine, I got my 250 rewired and fitted with an OL counterweight and stub, It was like a new and better arm. They were well made decks so it should last you a lifetime.

Ill be rewiring this with the Cardas cable & fitting the Michell 'Techno arm weight' at a later date but its on my list. Always liked Systemdek. Had the 'IIS' 'OIL RIG' with SME arm a while ago, but sold it with the majority of my records. Since then its dawned on me that Computer audio is a bunch of shit

Thats about the time i bought my first 'IIX' might even been 1989! was a walnut finish.. I was going to buy a 'RB300' for this but decided against it as i intended using a Techno weight. Your will have had the Metal tub base then & not the later cheap Hardboard base? Im going for all plain black simple equipment these days to match in with the Black & Grey modern decor Attachments:

That is what puzzles me, Postie is suppose to be as normal. I think its a matter of some seller taking the piss using lock down as an excuse. If they can't post out they should not be selling is my attitude. I have stuff to flog but i know i can't get them out so will wait. Excuse me though i have to be the worlds most impatient bloke when i have things to do
