Anyone know where i can get a NOS 'FRAGILE' on the 2016 Rhino edition. Im not interested in the 2x12" version or the earlier Analogue Productions issues.

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YES-FRAGILE-STUNNING-2016-180gram-VINYL-LP-DOWNLOAD-BOOKLET-NEW-SEALED/362917347646?hash=item547f8f413e:g:FzsAAOSwg8FeSaDtHere's a copy but pricing is ridiculous. I passed on this as I had the AP. Would have thought it was still in print and thinking it may come back when the pressing plants catch up. For the same amount you can get the Steve Hoffman remix box set from Amazon. I think the sound is not so far behind frankly in spite of it being done in digital. Actually this one surprised me and I didn't need to buy it. The best Fragile is the 2 Lp MFSL one step which just went out of print so prices have leaped to around £300 already. The one you want is generally going for £60 but as I said it may only be temporarily unavailable.

Yeh thats the one with the Gold sticker with the Kevin Gray/Cohearent cut. ouch £80! You right it may come about again as 'FRAGILE' is there most popular LP shown by it always being out of stock quick.
I don't want the 2x12" MFSL that is the definition of a pain in the arse having to turn over every other track.. Had THE DOORS set like that but got shut as it was just too inconvenient.

I got a really superb 80's pressing, completely Minto vinyl and cover with the loose booklet. Probably worth fuck-all. But the beauty is, I got Roger Dean to sign the inside cover, right across his 'logo'.
What sort of value would that fetch?

I used to avoid 80's pressings like the plague. So how you bump into Rodge the Deano?

I managed to meet him on this little jaunt: www.hulldailymail.co.uk/whats-on/music-nightlife/sail-away-hms-prog-dutch-834004I got him to sign My Fragile, Badger and Greenslade 'Bedside Manners' albums together with some further Yes and Greenslade memorabilia that I had with me. As for the event itself, Focus ducked out of the event to be replaced by PFM, (thank you again, God!!!), who were absolutely fucking superb. Got them to sign a load of gear too, as with Caravan, who also performed. Had a lengthy natter with Pye Hastings and his wife, who were both superb. I'd been told beforehand that Roger Dean was a bit of a dick, but I found him to be completely charming. In fact, we talked so long we ended up going off and sharing a coffee together. Top man!

I checked Vinyl Gourmet (Lisbon) and though out of stock they have 'coming soon' against the listing. My hunch is that this will get a repress next year. It's now common for in print titles to be listed as £100 when they are temporarily unavailable (by the chancers). Happens regularly with AP and MFSL. Pressing plants are well behind due to COVID. Fragile is a title I would expect to be kept in print given the continuing vinyl gold rush. A dealer worth their salt should have trade lists of what is going OOP v remaining on catalogue.

SEEN THAT GOURMET PLACE, I DID NOTICE THE COMING SOON MARKER.. ONE THING I DONT WANT IS THAT 2LP JOBBIE WITH THE BONUS TRACKS. ALL THAT BOLLOX SHOULD BE LEFT TO LP BOX SETS.. SEEMS LIKE ALL THE LATE 70'S YES LP's NEED A RE-ISSUE AGAIN. ONE ALBUM I VERY MUCH DOUBT WILL EVER SEE A RE-ISSUE IS 'YESSONGS' TRIPLE. I HAVE A NEAR MINT 1st ISSUE OF THIS THAT I HAVE TO HOLD ON TO. IF ANYTHING THE PROGENY SEVEN SHOWS FROM THE 70'S COULD EACH GET A VINYL PRESS.
BUT THAT WOULD LEAVE US WITHOUT THE RAINBOW THEATRE DECEMBER SHOWS WHICH SHOULD ALSO GET A PRESS IN IT's ENTIRITY IMHO.. THERE IS SO MUCH OLD MATERIAL THAT IS JUST CRYING OUT TO BE PRESSED ON VINYL. I REALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE INDUSTRY THAT COULD MAKE A KILLING IF THEY GOT THEIR ARSES IN GEAR. PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS BUY VINYL & YOU & I KNOW THAT FANS WILL BUY ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING WHAT SO EVER TO DO WITH THEIR FAV BANDS.
