I Really would like to hear what the current Sterling engineer, Ryan K Smith could do with the master tape with a superior mastering chain than in the 70s. Likely those tapes are still in the USA? It's yet another catalogue crying out for the proper AAA treatment. Good luck finding a clean genuine original pressing. I take it heavy vinyl means a full 120 gram up to 140 gram possibly and not 180 gram.

I went hunting for my original vinyl pressing (I think I went to five copies to get a quiet one) and you know what, I bloody sold it yonks ago probably for a quid I honestly thought I'd keep it for the sleeve... A sales manager pal brought all my records down when we moved here in 2004 and he bought around a hundred LP's from me, so I'm all but certain where it is (he has thousands of records at home in a situation Jimmy Highes would be proud of).
