Something ive noticed, or more to the point ive never seen European Re-issues of the '74-'80 albums [Relayer/Going for the one/Tormato/Drama/yesshows]. Probably since the 80's. They were released by Friday Music in the USA over ten years ago.. Come on for crying out loud, i though vinyl was the latest money spinner!!!
Asking too much for a re-issue of the triple live album 'Yessongs' but they could release the Seven shows for '72 seperate venues as Record store day releases maybe? which would be cool the fear is it will probably be coloured vinyl which gets on my wick. In addition they must have the Rainbow Theatre gig they did which two of the 'Yessongs' tracks were taken from, the recording was apparently of sub standard quality but they can work wonders these days.
Industry has the recognise that they will sell anything they produce because fan are fans they have to buy all things to do with their cherished bands.
As a side moan i was dissapointed to see that they completely bypassed Emerson, Lake & Palmer 'In Concert' Fuzzy when re-issuing the present releases. They mingled it on to the 'Works 2' CD release as 'Works Live' but not on vinyl, how odd & how annoying now it can be released as a 2LP.. Actually 'In Concert' was originally planned as a double album but descions at the time made it not so.
