Genesis are a fooking joke band, always were and always will be. Throughout their entire pap-catalogue, there's only 2 releases I vaguely have any time for, namely 'Foxtrot' and 'And Then There Were Three', and they're still second rate.
When they became a reggae band and released 'Duke', then I switched off entirely. Conversely, I'm a great admirer of Peter Gabriel's work, who had the great sense to get of that shitepit while he still had his sanity and credibility intact.
