Ive got an LP where a side three/Four got a wave as it spins. Ive had four different one but they are all the same, must be a batch issue.
Any sucess in getting rid of warps? Only a small wave but enough to piss me off, tried clamping it but its more the start of the record end.

I’ve never tried to straighten a record, but I’ve seen people put them between two bits of glass and sit them in the oven on lowest heat. The theres Vinylflat. I’m sure that MCRU bloke flattens records for a small fee (he’s got some device to do it). I’d probably look at option 3.

LOL cheaper to throw it in the bin & try another copy from elsewhere. Its not that much of a wave but its there, even less so on side 4. I was thinking sat between two pieces of glass , Piece of paper covering the record up & sitting it in the sun all day.

Sat between two pieces of glass is fine (use books to weight the top pane down). May well take a goodly while though (months?).
How bad is the warp? It's only an issue really with arms that put the vertical pivots out of line with the headshell, 'cos you get yaw as well as the VTA wavering around with the warp.

As said its only a small wave & the clamp does noting. I just dont like my arm moving when playing. Might just throw the record in the bin & buy a fresh from another outlet & pray its not from the same press run.

You keep telling me it's all about the music as if I didn't know, so just close your eyes and ignore it

Warps are usually audible IME, I’d want it straight too.

Internet is full of alien lifeform giving advice they know to be FALSE. Small minds get off on this behavior.
I just tried to de-warp a Rory Gallager lp using preciously-worthless youtube advice.
1/ Put recckie in PAPER sleeve. Place it between two sheets of glass. Put in oven and raise temp to 65 degrees celcius. Let cool. Vowlah!!!
Stupid cunt.
Fixed warp a bit but ruined other things.
