This probably isn't relevant for a forum such as this where there is a complete lack of any musical appreciation, but it's worth noting that exactly 50 years ago Nick Drake was putting together the final pieces of the post-recording process of his seminal 'Pink Moon' album, whilst desperately trying to stay within his pre-allocated £500 budget.
We are not worthy.

On the basis that intelligence, spirituality, class and empathy are required to appreciate Nick I'm assuming you're not a fan?

Let me get this right then, Because you believe that DRAKE is of no interest to others there is then a complete lack of any musical appreciation!
What a bafoon.

Pink Moon certainly isn't my favourite Drake LP, that would be Five Leaves Left. I'm pretty sure John Wood would have done the post production work as ND wasn't in great mental shape by then. Why has there got to be some battle line here between prog and acoustic folk?

Mine would be 'Bryter Layter', but I still love 'Pink Moon' for the raw energy that it emits.
There are no musical battle lines. It's all relevant, and the patterns weave in and out of each other.

It's actually 'bufoon', you bafoon. Why don't you see if you can get extra reading and writing coaching at the Day Centre?

Good to see someone noticing the upcoming 50th anniversary of Pink Moon. Bryter and Five Leaves are brilliant too, of course...but PM has such a stark fragility that it seems to add another dimension to the songs. Well, for me, anyway. It's a very regular play, here.
I think I came across ND in the mid 90s when a compilation CD (Way To Blue?) arrived after my ex wife forgot to cancel her Britannia Music club subscription.
Bafoon sounds like a Moroccan pudding. Is it rice based?

Yes, it was childish, lol. S.

Yes, it was childish, lol. S. The AOS BMU thread (and the threads that were subsequently deleted elsewhere) was / is a procession of misinformation and hysteria. The threads were started by someone who thought they had spotted an opportunity to damage the reputation of a man who had been dead for 2 years. In doing so, they either considered that the new NVA would be acceptable collateral damage, or they just didn't give a thought for people who rely on the new NVA for some or all of their living. The threads elsewhere were withdrawn / deleted when I exposed the OP as both uninformed and malicious. Unfortunately, I have no right of reply at AOS. I see, from time to time, how forum posters would 'warmly welcome' manufacturers contributing to their forums. If the upshot of that is the sort of uninformed and disrespectful nonsense posted on that BMU thread, is it any wonder that 99% of manufacturers want nothing to do with forums? There's plenty of information about the new generation of NVA at HFS and on the nvahifi.co.uk website. P.

Hope to someday hear the new NVA. Are you still using Grado headphones? S.

Hi-Fi Man are planning to use it as (one of) their demo amps at shows. I liked the Grados (225e) a lot. Can't remember if I sold them or gave them to one of the kids.
