Okay, you insist prog after a certain date is worthless. You paint it all with a broad brush.
I'm not going to disagree with you , or attempt to poke holes in your certainties, but...
WHAT EVIDENCE COULD CONVINCE YOU TO CHANGE YOUR MIND.

No you are still trying to push your views. Many reasons i personally favour early Prog.
Destruction lies with: FASHION INSTRUMENT TECHNOLOGY RECORDING TECHNOLOGY
Influence is the wrong road to travel down because it spells disaster at the end of it.

Music runs with fashion. Its a fact. I can just hear the music style of the time in bands music, this is proof enough that sound is of fashion at the time. I can tell the sound of an synth in the particular era which tells me what era it is LOL. A prime example would be Emerson GX1 which totally transformed their sound. If there was no outside influence, no new Instrument, no new studio techniques then say ELP music should sound the same from 1970 - 1978 then no?

Dont be sarcastic. Your just not accepting that music & fashion run hand in hand.
