All because of bad packing i have lost the chance of four LP's i needed to complete my PURP's collection, They are now going for stupid money.
DEEP PURPLE - 'BURN'/'STORMBRINGER'/'COME TASTE THE BAND' - Im against Purple vinyl but these were ok, Mastered from the original tapes at Abbey Road.
Also missed out on the 2012 European pressing of the 'IN CONCERT '72 that comes with the 7" single. It was originally part of the 1980 release 'IN CONCERT'.. The single is an unreleased soundcheck of "MAYBE I'M A LEO". I can get a USA Warner pressing but thats a big no thanks.
Fucked off is an understatement.

Lots of sellers are cottoning on and using those mailers you recommend. Amazon will have to follow suit sometime. The returns and damages must be huge.

Amazon was one of the first to use proper mailers, it's just some of the time the packers aren't using them. Usually I get records in a mailer and then placed in a larger box. You either get too much packing or the opposite such as a record in a paper bag. |

You either get too much packing or the opposite such as a record in a paper bag. I worked out that if you buy records individually & have them sent to a locker they get well packed in good mailers. Its the home deliverirs that seem to be the problem. If you buy more than one at a time there is a big chance they wont come in mailers. |

Last two records i just bought are from HMV online to be sent to the Meadowhall Shop for pick up. HMV use good mailers for this.
