I shit you not i have two LP i bought brand new six months ago, that were 100% perfect. These records have never been touch since they have been in a cupboard. Ive been fitting new style outter sleeves today to notice these two albums have small cracks along the topof the sleeve that look like split trough starting. I dont now what the hell is going off but they were not there when i put them away.
Anyone ele had mysterious cracks?

I've noticed inconsequential splitting turn into a much larger split. Some people are so paranoid they store the discs outside the jacket. Really not noticed anything if the sleeve was perfect to start with.

I scrutinize sleeves when i get them im so OCD about condition. Luckly it was LP's i can still buy. Ordered em today. The absolute poor quality of card stock & construction these days doesnt help things. So shocking when you get Bootleg LP's with far better quality sleeve stock than official releases.
