Just been announced. I believe he had been unwell for some time. Alan White was with Yes for 50 years and played with John Lennon before that. Finally will they call it a day?

I was sorry to have heard this news. Although he had one hell of a CV, I just never rated him as one of the greats. He was technically inferior to Bruford in every respect, and couldn't hold a candle to some of his contemporaries such as Carl Palmer, Florian Pilkington-Miksa and Pierre van der Linden.
