Years ago i used to have a GILLETTE 'MACH 3' Razor where you bought seperate heads to attach. I have to shave a lot & were getting too expensive so i switched to disposables. the 'BLUE II' GILLETTE are actually every bit as good but when the wife buys those Yellow BIC disposable they slice my face to pieces, Anyone else have this trouble if they used them?
Maybe i should back track 25 years where i walked around with long hair & a beard

I seem to get on with BIC. Twin and triple blade razors seem to clog, so I just use the single blade ones. I can live with the BIC sensitive but I prefer the standard ones.

Razors

When I last wet-shaved twenty years or so back, I kept coming out in a sore rash on my neck and chin and even cleaning the heads in meths (I rinsed it off after...) didn't help much. Probably my dreadful razor technique. Herself bought me a modern shaver and I never looked back... These days I don't (need to) shave much, so once or twice a week or so, I actually mostly use a cheap Philishave twin rotor battery thing which is quiet if used when up early for work (work is seasonal) and actually, not too bad at crudely outlining now I have the knack of doing it. The Braun I have as a main shaver tends to pull if not used daily (never used to and this with new official Braun head and cutter) and it's bloody noisy.
I dunno, when I had a beard forty years back it was ginger with black bits. All the ginger hairs have gone snow white and all that remains of before is a grubby looking bit in me 'tache. What's left of me barnet looks badger-like now although the dark bits are lightening up quite quickly now.

The whole reason i like disposbles is i chuck them in the bin after a shave so no chance rust forming on the blade.
