Holding Co. were a tight band, but when Janice Joplin was brought in the whole thing went to feck,
I really,really hate her and her melodramatic "singing". Its bad enough this is the straining signature of the blacks , but Joplin brought it to another level.
Well, one has to rule Joplin off-limits on this thread cause I doubt she ever had a ballsack.
Oh yeah, just this morning I made a good find at the thrift:Woodstock 3lp orig set for $6. In perfeckt nick.
But I left it there due to shit like Joplin,10 Years After,Country Joe, Canned Heat and 4 or 5 others.
Band I really hate is The Band. They sound SO quintisentially AMERICUNT. (Yeah, I know Poindexter, Robbie Robertson ies Canadian.
