It's ok. It's just that my mate at work's missus sits up at the weekend late into the night buying absolute crap that they dont need then running into the bedroom shouting "I won it , I won it "! . Great ... a Burberry's baseball cap for £100.

Be careful Mr Kiplings Arsey ways could be rubbing off on ya, Well you'll be pleased to know I won't be posting anything again - I can't be bothered with the attitude. Everything seems to have to be a competition, having to be one up, being top dog with you. I simply pass on what little bit of knowledge I have. If that's too much for you - ok. Anyway, glad to see you're back into hi-fi, and with a format you've kept rubbishing so much in the past, and said you'd never touch again. And Happy Shopping! (It's only Hi- Fi, André. No big deal.)

If it's no big deal, why are you flouncing?

Looks like Andre got his flounce in first. I do hope he will be back. I enjoy his posts and knowledge. We have similar tastes in design too

If it's no big deal, why are you flouncing? Just for you - and your slippers - I didn't. Flounce: Noun: An exaggerated action intended to express annoyance or impatience. None really apply. Exaggerated. I simply said I wasn't posting anything again and the reason why. If it's seen as exaggerated by others - that's up to them. Express Annoyance. OK. There was some annoyance early on. But I got past that. I just don't see the point in continuing with something when I know what the end result is going to be. Doesn't that seem logical to you? I wouldn't stand in the road on a bend nowing at some point a car is likely to come round and flatten me. Impatience. It wasn't done out of impatience, as if some red haze had descended. For the past couple of days I've been asking myself: why bother? I've never had a problem with André in the past. I like him. Perhaps it's just me. Perhaps I don't have the patience & tolerance I had in the past. I just can't be arsed, though, having to qualify everything I post. Hopefully that answers your question. Ta & 'Bye. And don't worry, he'll be back. A leopard doesn't change it's spots, so they say.

As me Granny used to say: You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.
You can give some individuals on forums what happens to be the truth, but they would rather remain attached to their own personal belief.
A not uncommon occurance.
