Cocksuckers:
Yesterday I went to my first Storage Locker deal. 3000 used lps ,1000 priced over ten dollah, but I was digging the $1 and $5 crates.
Best of all -virtually no competition. Not many knew of this.
Didn't get much. Only spent ten dollah - (the guy knocked it down from $14) but got good shit for sure:
Incredible String Band 2lp set Wee Tam & Big Hugwe. Beautiful UK laminated cover
"The Last Rebel " soundtrack. Shit film with Joe Namath, but the music is Ashton,Gardner & Smith! My best find. No one knows this lp. Some Composition Jon Lord
Richard Harvey (Of Gryphon) composes orchestral KPM library record "Fantasia"
Shawn Phillips - Contribution the last lp of the trilogy
ELP Tarkus UK!
SANTANA Oneness believe it or not I was totally unaware of this fine lp till 3 months ago!

Really? Why? (Yes its Manticore.) Dull as dishwatter in comparison Andre is completely correct in this observation. The ELP back-catalogue moved from Island to Manticore in 1973, just in good time for the oil crisis and the poor-quality vinyl pressings that appeared as a result. The best sounding Tarkus releases are the UK Island pressings from the 1971/1972 period - I've compared them with the US/Aussie/German pressings and they can't be touched for SQ.

The first UK Press 'Brain Salad Surgery' was also dull compared to the the original USA Pressing. I have all new ELP albums on BMG but i dont play them i play the first issues, infact the 'BSS' mix is so bad on "Jerusalem" i sent it back & re-ordered another sealed one to just sit on for value purposes.

I command! No more Rainbow tripe!
Art thou spoiling for trouble?
Thou wilt act the supplicating suppliant, thou wilt renounce this sharn-music forthwith!
