This morning: THE NICE - ARS LONGA VITA BREVIS. Its not an early pressing as its not laminated or back flap present, but its in nice condition, this LP's is usually a nightmare to pick up in this condition. Any hoots £21.50 is a decent enough price.

Just now: THE NICE - FIVE BRIDGES & ELERGY LP's.. Both 1st issues on Scroll Charisma.. Yummy condition steal at £24 the two. Im fuming the record sleeves arrived destroyed because i wasnt it the twat that delivered them had thrown them over the back.. Thats £25 down the drain. When shit like this happens i generally consider putting a stop to buying records. I am considering this now. I feel like crying cos these were in mint condition.

You can’t own either, because of you have a go at him you can guarantee more damage will follow.

O hes in for it & i know exactly who he is. The listing stated Royal Mail 2nd class, Not Hermes, If i would have know it were Hermes i would not have bought them. They get paid per delivery, if you ain in they wont come back they just thow stuff in the garden or just leave it on the door step. Using them is as good as sealing the items fate. Never ever ever have i received anything from them with loss or damage. Ofc i will get the silent treatment from the seller its guaranteed.

Not sure what to do tbh.
1. Im kidding myself with vinyl because even tho i say im happy im not cos quite frankly i will never be happy unless all my records are 1st issues, which they wont be cos they cost too much.
2. I hate this turntable & Arm, i dont want any arguments with the wife with it again. Its not a good sounding deck & arm by a long shot. Ive have a lot lot better.
3. I hate CD & will never ever go there again, like wise with files.
4. I just really dont want to continue buying record now.

Not sure it will work for you, but I sometimes have a “pause” when I get pissed off. The red mist goes after a while and my appetite returns.

O well was KING CRIMSON first LP but as i thought got mega outbid cos sadly the 1st issues of the first two albums are Idiot money victims, even the 2nd issues on Pink Rim are expensive but Pink Rims are what i have to hope & pray i drop on at a realistic price.
I've got a stunning Pink 'i' version, a real masterpiece. The type that should be locked away in a bank vault for posterity. Obviously comes with the 'E. J. Day' credit as it should. Both cover and record are immaculate. Yours for £475 p.p.
I also have a strong 'EX' pink-rim version too, yours for £45 plus postage.
Additionally, I have a very nice late-70's Polydor pressing for £18 p.p.

Records should be sent in proper mailers that prevent corner crushing. I recycle the Amazon ones which are actually pretty bulletproof. If this was Ebay rather than discogs, return them as arriving damaged. He won't be able to get out of refunding. I sent a record deck by DPD because I couldn't get an UPS slot through Interparcel. The buyer was a pub manager in a closed pub due to Covid and the twat did not check the tracking I sent him. He contacted me days later asking about tracking - effin idiot. Went off to look for the parcel and by time he got back to me expressing relief it had been under a tree in the pub garden for nearly a week. Luckily it was waterproof due to wrapping it entirely in bubble wrap.

No its not down to the packing at all,These were in a correct mailer with stiffeners. Throwing the records 20 feet landing on a concrete floor you think record corners would survive that, they should not have to endure that. RUBBISH that is a totally unrealistic load of cobblers suggesting private sellers to buy those heavy wrap around mailers. The issue is about launching my my record just because a re delivery was not his intention. Would you catch a postman carry off like that, ofc he would not he would redeliver.

RUBBISH Ok if he did that report him and make a claim against Hermes. He should not be doing that job. It amounts to gross misconduct.

Been here before, you get absolutely no where. This is why i don't use them & why i went beserk when i saw this.
This brings me back to why i find record buying an absolute nightmare & shit i don't need in my life tbh.
50 Years those records have been in mint condition, 50 fuckin years till some twat went and destroyed them.

Posties don't give a fuck. They just leave stuff on our porch. The bell works and we gave a heavy old door knocker and I've watch them use neither one. Easier to just throw it in the doorway. I'm not saying they're lazier than the police but they ain't far off. Nobody's lazier than the bloody police. .

They use this Covid as an excuse now. Sick of em. People paying for registered signed for post for them to just leave it. Ripping people off for the service. Parcel on the door step today should have been signed for.
