Just now: PINK FLOYD - MEDDLE. This is a very nice 2nd issue. Textured sleeve is about as good as you'll get these days. He took £20 for it..

Looks like used vinyl prices might be dumping due to Covid. However I've sold some unlistenable Beatles DMM reissues for more recently. I have Soft Parade on the butterfly label but my favourites for other titles are DCC (33 rpm) and Analog Productions 45 rpm for them all which are now retailing at almost double I paid when first released. I still have the box set derived from digital source which I will likely sell in the near future (the later don't really sound that bad - better than 80s german represses).

The world of record buying is full of liars. Just recieved my 1st pressing of ELP 'TRILOGY' He told me it was mint yet has a 2" scratch across side 2. Im fuming. Regarding the 'SOFT PARADE' you have on butterfly. Can you tell me if it has a matt finish sleeve? is it UK '76 Re issue?

Right thanks for that cos im arguing with a bloke who recons he has this edition that i know full well is matt cover but his has that shit lacquered finish you got in the 80's. Cos that is what he will have the early 80's German junk. Gotta watch these people man.

Just now: KEVIN AYERS 'WHATEVERSHEBRINGSWESING' Not a 1st issue cos they are stoopid money. Against my better judgement a mint Re-issue £10. Either this or go without the album which i just cannot do. Maybe i should store any Re-issues away from proper LP's put Red cross on them to warn against Bubonic Plague.

The 'L.A WOMAN' LP's i bought couple days ago arrived, in nice condition but it turns out to be a 2009 Rhino Records Re-issue. Heavy vinyl suppose to be 180 grm but its more like 200 grm. Nice quality sleeve, Die cut window & embossed 'THE DOORS' all as original. It actually sound good. Very slightly John Densmore Cymbals are a tad hard to follow just like a CD, But this could be the 'RB-250'/GOLDRING that might be the culprit as im hearing it with speakers & two different sets of headphones. I don't get any of this with old pressings cos there's no nastiness to accentuate still the vintage TT arm & cart i have planed hopefully may be a cure, but all in all a great pressing. You got any of these Rhinos' Classic?
