I’m sad that Aidan is leaving, but at least Joe is coming back. I liked him too, just not as much as Aidan. There have only been a few duff Veras, but that was one of them. It was based on Ann Cleeves’ latest novel too, which surprises me. I’d expected it to be some duff screenplay.

I’ve been watching a few Father Brown episodes today. It’s light hearted and easy to consume. I also wayched New Tricks for the first time. It wasn’t bad.
My wife watched Toy Story 4 yesterday and I watched with her. Not my kind of thing but it’s nice to watch for someone else sometimes.

MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS (1971) Brilliant film that. Glenda Jackson is superb as Elizabeth 1st
Mary Stuart was said have worn a Red Kurtle with attached red sleeves during execution, the sleeves said to be attached by her ladies in waiting. The move shows just one ladies attaching a scalf blind fold
Mary had four Ladies in waiting they were all called Mary, known as the four Mary's

Up now:
MAN IN THE IRON MASK (1977) Patrick McGoohan is in this, he was also in MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS earlier on playing the part of Mary Stuarts brother James Stuart
Like heaven watching old movies compared to the utter utter shite they make these days & have been making since the 80's imho

Just watched an episode of Father Brown. Probably the best one yet. Then I suddenly put some shelves up in record time because the meds I took at 9am finally started to kick in, 8 hours later!
Certain foods, drinks, vitamins and supplements can delay its release in the system. I’m also finding that my metabolism is very slow in the short, dark days of Winter, and that is also affecting the uptake of meds.
If I was really wealthy, I’d spend half the year in the Southern Hemisphere, so I could have two Springs and two Summers every year, without ever experiencing Autumn and Winter. If my lottery numbers ever come up, I will be off to Oz or NZ as soon as the days start to shorten.

And you know the best part about old movies. The sound is at a constant level, no loud explosions, No over loud dialect like you get these days where you are constantly up & down volume on the remote control & ofc the picture quality is far better.
