Apart from the complete Charisma output box set, we now seem to have pre orders of 3CD sets available for 'H TO HE', 'PAWN HEARTS', 'GODBLUFF' & 'STILL LIFE' up to yet, all from original masters. But no signs of the Vinyl releases swines, The 1st Charisma release 'THE LEAST WE CAN DO IS WAVE' was re-issues some time back worked on at Abbey Road but i only found out when it was too late. Im praying this is part of the Re-issues regime cos those first three Charisma releases are mega important to me. Have em on shitty silver disc but that means nothing to me apart from a waste of cutter mi bruvvers. As soon as the vinyl issues become available ill be like a rat up a drain pipe with mi cutter, ill starve for a week i dont mind.

Some titles have been put back to Feb or March 2022. Can't see them not issuing vinyl versions since it is the more profitable format.

Just listen to the new Stereo mixes of both 'H TO HE' & 'PAWN HEARTS'. Sound stages on both sound much larger, lots of details that ive never heard before but as always it does'nt sound right to me. The drums in particular sound a bit too clean, cymbals a tad splashy & things are a bit noisy on busy passages, these albums are very intense in places as it is i dont need to concentrate even more. Just leave all these albums as they were i say. Music should flow easily not having you pinned to the chair.

Well that was a good idea for me but i couldnt chance damaging a full package. But the downside is im without the singles i cant get alone. Seems stupid to me you cant tho
"Boat of a million years" is the best thing they ever did. It was available on the '68-'71 Compilation LP.
I only have the single: "People you were going to"/"Firebrand" i got with the Esoteric 'Aerosol grey machine' box set.

I find it difficult to get into some of this ancient stuff. the recordings were often sh*t, the music a template for better stuff that followed and I've really tried hard with Pawn Hearts for example... Buying this stuff on vinyl? Well, you know my views on that (and I do appreciate the larger easier-to-read vinyl jackets over a CD booklet) but if you prefer to handle a vinyl disc, well ok I love Manuel Gottsching's work but the first Ashra Tempel album is a sonic mess and the experimental tracks just don't jive at all with me (I've never used 'chemical medication' apart from alcohol, so maybe you need to be stoned to 'get' what these kids were doing back then).
